IRC Associate Marija Selak elected to the Croatian Parliament

The Ian Ramsey Centre is delighted to announce that IRC Associate Marija Selak, who is a consultant for the IRC project in Central and Eastern Europe, has recently been elected to the Croatian Parliament as an Independent Candidate in the 1st constituency (mainly Zagreb city centre and some other parts of Croatia near Zagreb). In addition, her husband, Nino Raspudić, was elected in the 2nd constituency (Zagreb East and some other parts of Croatia near Zagreb). This double victory is the first time in the Croatian history that a husband and a wife are sitting together in the Parliament. We congratulate Marija and her husband on their success.
